A pretty decent Chinese restaurant close to Futa station. I had to wait a few minutes for a table, as it was lunch time and the place was popular. It's a small eatery with an authentic old-fashioned atmosphere. A very polite elderly gentleman waits on the tables while the kitchen staff (just the two of them, by the look of it) work like the clappers backstage. The food is good portions adequate and the service fast.

I received the boneless rice set❗It was 1230 on a Sunday, but it was empty❗The curry-flavored pork and Chinese bean paste were a great match, and the meat was soft and satisfying. The rice was cooked a little hard, so it wasn't sticky with the bean paste. The salad or wonton set costs 1,100 yen, which is a bit expensive, so next time I'll try the individual items.

Great Chinese city. It's comfortable, and the food has a refreshing flavor that goes well with alcohol. Meals such as ramen come in generous portions and taste delicious with chopsticks. Looks like I'll be a repeat customer here.
