Kasukabe, Saitama, Japan｜Chinese restaurant けいらく

I wanted to try the local gourmet Kasukabe yakisoba, so I stopped by during lunch time. The shiso on top of the piping hot red bean paste was a nice accent and was delicious. The lunch menu was extensive, including set meals.

I saw it online and wanted to go someday, but I didn't have the chance, so I visited here for the first time. A large store with seats on the first floor and seats on the second floor. I went around 12:00 and the place was already almost full. I wanted to try something special from this restaurant, so I ordered Kasukabe Yakisoba for 740 yen and half fried rice. Kasukabe yakisoba is yakisoba with bean paste made with pork, tomatoes, cabbage, and tofu. There is a Yukari that resembles the Kasukabe flower "wisteria flower", and this Yukari does a good job. Fried rice is something I always order everywhere when I'm touring Chinese restaurants around town. I was imagining authentic Chinese fried rice based on the restaurant's atmosphere, but I was surprised and impressed by the flavor and content of native Chinese fried rice. The menu has a wide selection, from classic Chinese dishes to the restaurant's own original Chinese dishes. When I have time, I would like to eat Chinese food here and try various things.

At around 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2020, after leaving the sushi restaurant Fukusuke, I felt like eating ramen, so three of us went to a Chinese restaurant near Kasukabe Station. I looked at the signboard menu with photos and ordered the recommended Gomoku Ramen.It was faster and more delicious than I had imagined.
