I visited Chinese restaurant Koshin for lunch on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. There is a parking lot in front of the store that can accommodate about 3 regular passenger cars. I entered the store after disinfecting with alcohol. The structure of the restaurant includes counter seats, table seats, and a small raised area. When I visited, the majority of the customers were men. Inside the store, the TV was on and a wide show was playing. There were so many customers that there were no seats available at the counter, so I was seated at a table in a raised area. When I took my seat, I was served cold water. I also enjoyed the friendly and courteous customer service from the staff. I ate set B from the lunch menu. The set of ramen, mini yakiniku bowl, and salad was 900 yen including tax. Ramen ingredients include pork fillet, menma, naruto, seaweed, snow peas, and green onions. The chashu was thin, but the more I chewed it, the more it tasted good, and the crunchy texture of the menma was also good. The noodles are curly and have a smooth surface that makes them go down easily, and when you put your teeth into them, they have a chewy texture and a good taste. The soup is light but full of flavor. The mini yakiniku bowl consists of stir-fried pork, chives, carrots, onions, etc., served over rice. The pork is fragrantly grilled and has a good flavor, and the vegetables have a nice crunchy texture. The salad consisted of shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and tomatoes, all topped with sesame dressing. It was delicious.
