Otsuki, Yamanashi, Japan｜八仙

Since I was staying in Tsuru, I took the train to eat at Otsuki, which offers a 30% discount on PayPay. A shop that blends into the town, 2-3 minutes walk from the station. It's a vertical space with about 4 tables, and you'll have to pass through the back. Sichuan feng shui dumplings have a mature taste with a hint of Japanese pepper. The green pepper meat paste is healthy without being greasy, the meat is tender, and the shrimp chili is plump. The spring rolls are packed with ingredients. Dandan noodles are super authentic!! ️ So, it was a really high-quality restaurant, not just your average town Chinese restaurant 😃 I got carried away and ended up drinking Shaoxing wine for the first time in a while. I want to go again 😃⤴️

All of the dishes were delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the Sichuan Feng Shui dumplings and Otsuki fried rice, which felt unique to this place. The stir-fried wood ear fungus, egg, and Fujisakura pork was also very tasty and had a lot of pork to it. I also thought it would be nice to have a variety of other dishes that use ingredients from Yamanashi Prefecture.

On the way back from the mountains, I returned to Otsuki to come here, and stopped by a Chinese restaurant. Because I was deeply moved by the deliciousness that was not at the level of town Chinese. This time, Sichuan-style gyoza dumplings with sesame sauce, Koshu wine and green pepper stir-fried with soy sauce, salad, and Otsuki fried rice. It was really delicious! I want to go again.
