What a great little gem this place is! Run by a mother and son, this place boasts tremendous bang for your buck! It's a very cozy, homey type of establishment so don't expect glamour. ONLY 2200 yen for an 11 piece omakase along with fish miso soup and green tea to drink! I still dream about the tamagoyaki here. The chef is also very friendly and his mother is sweet. Overall, this place deserves way more attention for what it brings to the table. Please give it a try!

We went to Kiku Sushi twice during our stay in Tokyo. This cozy little shop is near Koenji station near all the vintage clothing stores. The price in unbeatable, and you get delicious food. The chef and his mom are very accommodating and friendly. They welcomed us and even gave a us a free nigiri on our last night. If you want an unforgettable dining experience, please visit!

As I'm traveling here with my friend and don't know what to have for dinner, we spot this sushi restaurant. We were nervous because we can't really speak Japanese, but the owner hosted us nicely. We used English, Chinese, and some basic Japanese to interact, and it was very cheerful. The sushi here is wonderful too. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
