I used it for lunch and ordered chirashi. It is packed with toppings and is very satisfying to eat. Chirashi and other lunch menus are priced at 800 yen, making this a popular restaurant. It's run by an elderly couple, and I thought it was a little cold when I first saw it, but once you understand the ordering process, you'll want to come back.

It is a sushi restaurant in Showa-no-machi that has been around for a long time in a slightly desolate place away from redevelopment, although it is close to Tokyo Metro Higashi-Ikebukuro Station and Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line Higashi-Ikebukuro 4-chome). I visited before noon on July 13th and had a sashimi set meal of ¥800. This price is cheap with sashimi, rice, miso soup, pickles and small bowls. It's a sushi restaurant, so the sashimi is definitely delicious. The garnish was ogonori, not radish. The pickles are radish and sesame. The small bowls are also elaborate, and the miso soup is a soup stock, so everything is delicious. The amount of rice is moderate, but +¥100 makes it twice as medium size +¥200 makes it three times larger size. Other menus also seem to be popular for lunch at this price uniformly. The shop is narrow and old with 8 counter seats and 1 table for 4 people, so it is not beautiful, but it is a good shop with a Showa atmosphere.

I came here because it was in my neighborhood and I had been curious about it for a long time. 800 yen includes chirashi sushi, small side dish, and miso soup. very delicious! I've always been at a convenience store during the day, but I thought I'd try having lunch here next time. The general's thank you was kind and the staff were efficient and left a good impression. It seems that it is open from 5pm at night, so I would like to visit at night as well.
