Lovely local sushi place in Komagome - seems to be family owned. The nigiri platter for lunch + a beer for about $11AUD/¥1100 can’t be beat. You’ll get a miso soup and green tea with the nigiri too. Great lunch spot and we hope to be back for dinner before we leave.

Very much a classic Japanese sushi place, great prices. Does allow indoor smoking, though.

It is located on the way from Kyu Furukawa Garden to Kaminakazato Station. I entered the store because I was attracted by the lunch nigiri (900 yen) (large size 1,000 yen). It has a ``town sushi'' atmosphere that locals use on a daily basis, and it was easy to enter even on the first visit. The woman serving the customers was very nice, and the sushi (large size nigiri) was an orthodox type of sushi that felt like Edomae nigiri. I think this is the perfect restaurant for people who want to eat cheap and delicious sushi.
