Ordered top two sets of dish from their pictured menu, each comes with a choice of beer or sake. Around 5k Yen in total. Food was top notch. What impressed me the most was the atmosphere in there, very authentic. Like the other reviews said before me, the old couple are very welcoming and friendly even though they couldn't speak english much and we couldn't speak japanese much. A local in there jumped in and assisted in taking our order, no thanks to google translate lol (confused them even more! Wrong voice recognition was translated, yikes). But, you'll have no trouble ordering and enjoying yourself in here. Just point to the pictured menu. The old lady was so kind, bless her, she tried to engage with us in coversation and a young lady came to our rescue helping us in translating, time and time again. I wish her all the best! Had a very cheerful and fun chat. When we were about to leave, everyone, literally everyone in the restaurant, were smiling, thanking and waving goodbyes. It doesn't get more authentic than this. The chef has worked here for over 50 years. No frills, very high quality and good value - what more can you ask for!

Very cute literal mom and pop type shop. Food was delicious, prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. Not the most English friendly (but with a translator app you should be fine). Times may not be accurate according to Google.
