More Comments at Google MapAn astringent sushi restaurant near the Nishi-Ochiai 1-chome intersection where Shinmejiro-dori meets Mejiro-dori. In addition to nigiri and chirashi, there are set meals and soba noodles for lunch. I ordered "Nigiri" without hesitation. The toppings of the day are 2 yellowtails marinated in ponzu sauce, squid, vinegared sardines and horse mackerel, sea bream, and eggs. In addition, kappa rolls, miso soup with lots of ingredients, boiled small bowls, and plenty of pickles. Saturday afternoon, time flows slowly. I'm the type who doesn't drink lunch, so it's tea. The atmosphere is homely, warm, and comfortable. It felt like an energy charge for my heart, and I was completely satisfied.
I've always been interested in a sushi restaurant in my neighborhood, but I couldn't get into a sushi restaurant because it seemed like it was too expensive. I happened to see a sign for lunch today and decided to go in! The result was very correct. All the nigiri were delicious. Especially natural yellowtail from Hokkaido. The atmosphere of the shop and the inside of the shop were both relaxing and comfortable. I think I want to go again!
The inside of the store really feels like visiting an ordinary person's home, so you'll either like it or hate it (lol) There are many regulars here, and the price is cheap for this flavor. Anyone who says it's expensive is simply someone of a lower rank (lol) It's a kappo restaurant, right? My father, who is picky about food, told me about this restaurant and since I was impressed, I always check to see if it's open whenever I happen to get off at Ochiai-Minami-Nagasaki Station due to some errands. The owner and landlady are both particularly personable. The helpers are also very friendly. I believe he is the second generation owner. While most second-generation owners are disappointing, this owner is learning a lot. There really is a huge gap between the banal atmosphere of the restaurant and the luxurious taste, and those who understand it will be impressed (lol) When I took my junior colleague who worked as a chef at first-class restaurants in Ginza and Kagurazaka, he took a bite of the first dish and was so moved that he fell silent (lol). That's how amazing it is (lol) He's a good person, so I'll be a regular customer (lol) It's a truly wonderful restaurant that doesn't try to be cool and competes solely on taste and personality.
