Edogawa City, Tokyo, Japan｜Fuku Sushi

In late January 2020, I walked along the Shinnakagawa (新中川) river chronicling the twenty five bridges along the five mile man made waterway. I stopped for a late lunch at Fuku Sushi (福寿し) for some delicious sushi and some chilled sake. The restaurant had three patrons who were all very friendly and I had a wonderful visit as I enjoyed the tasty seafood. One of the seasonal treats was shirako ponzu (白子ポン酢) was especially tasty (cod milt). After three years of pandemic restrictions, I finally visited Tokyo again and was able to revisit Fuku Sushi. The shirako ponzu was again delicious. I especially enjoyed the wasabi maki. I hope to make it back next year.

Good Service, Fresh and delicious food

The store is isolated from the station, but there are two parking lots, which is convenient. The inside of the store is clean and there are many table seats, and the back parlor ( Western) is also available. The bill is about twice as much as conveyor belt sushi, but the taste is outstanding and there is no need to compare it. We are also happy to be open until late at 11pm. The owner seems to be elderly, but this is a good local restaurant that I hope will continue to operate.
