Really amazing experience! The food was perfect and the service was impeccable. The place is rather small but cozy. Everything is made right in front of you by the chef. The sake matched the food really well. 5/5

Sushi Sho in Hakone Yumoto deserves multiple Michelin Stars. The meal tonight was flawless, the ingredients incredible and the staff perfectly attentive. Whilst there was a language barrier, Hiromichi Miki and the rest of the team made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The whole team was incredibly nice. The food: so many dishes, so many different types of fish. The tuna and squid was especially amazing. They even made me like Ikura and Uni, two ingredients which I normally cannot do. The sake: flawlessly paired with the dishes. So many great things I can say about this restaurant but I think the biggest point I can make being from Australia is this. Omakaze restaurants in Australia don’t even come close to the quality of Sushi Sho. Final thoughts: Do yourself a favour and spend the money to truly enjoy what is an unforgettable experience. Sushi Sho is on a quiet street so you will be able to relax whilst enjoying amazing food. Enough of my rambling, just go. You won’t regret it!!! P.S. The only suggestion I can make is that the team need to add an English version to their site. I had to do some google translate to help sort my booking ^_^
