Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Sushi Miyafuji

The mackerel bowl was SO delicious, the soup, the sushi was amazing, all the food was so fresh!!! I had dinner twice in this place during my stay in Hakone. The owner is such a nice and friendly person and his family. It's definitely a great experience of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended!!

Soo good. So fresh and made with love by very experienced uncle and auntie. Beautiful origami. Love the teacups. Definitely worth the 30 minute wait (came at 12). Lovely experience of Japanese cuisine. We went on a Saturday and there was no queue from 13pm. When there is a queue you do have to write your name down on a desk.

Very friendly owner who at age 81 worked nonstop, clearing dishes, prepping food. The horse mackeral rice bowl is very fresh, soup is simple which brings out the other dishes flavor.
