Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan｜Taru Sushi

Delicious seafood, very high quality. We went with a Japanese friend today and she helped us order delicious items. No English menu :(

A locally rooted sushi restaurant in Fujisawa. Shari made with red vinegar brings out the flavor of the sushi. Showa Genroku Sushi, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located at the north exit of Fujisawa Station, has closed due to the coronavirus, so this may be the only sushi restaurant near the north exit. It was delicious.

I visited on a Sunday around 2pm. It was empty, so I got in right away. I told them that I wanted to eat local fish, and after consulting with the staff, they recommended local fish, special selection, and arajiru soup. I ordered the special 10 pieces, which is a great deal and comes with soup until 3pm. Konbujime, horse mackerel, grilled kingfish, kelp with roe, shrimp, salmon roe, scallop, tuna It was 10 pieces including local fish. All the sushi was well-crafted, and the tuna and local fish were sticky and delicious. I think this is a great deal for 2100 yen excluding tax. Thank you for the meal.
