Hayama, Kanagawa, Japan｜葉山 福ふく

A tucked in place in Hayama for those who like great traditional sushi with serinity to go with it. This is a very quaint place that uses seasonal locally caught fish to set the stage for fine dining while mixing traditional and modern motifs. This is a very intimate place, you will find 6 chairs at the counter and table for 4. This place offers parking but you will have to drive a block pass the restaurant and once you see the shop "Ride", a parking lot right after it will have three spots for the restaurant. All in all this is a good treat for those who are looking for traditional food in an environment of calmness and intimacy.

Had a great time. Food course (11k per person for dinner) was excellent, (good value) and all the staff were very welcoming and took time to explain lots about the fish & preparation. Will defo be heading back.

For delicious sushi in Hayama, head to Fukufuku. You can taste the earth and enjoy a wonderful nigiri. The shop has a counter and a table, and it is just the right size and you can relax. Hayama is a difficult point that there are few good hotels. Every time I come, I think of a villa. I wish this store was within walking distance.
