****2nd Visit****** I went to Mr. Umeda at the end of my third Ogawamachi one-day hot spring trip. Just like last time, the standard course is to play in the nearby day-trip hot springs until the evening and head to Umeda. This time, before heading to Ogawamachi, I made a reservation by DM from Instagram, and I was grateful for the same polite response. Last time, I regretted that it was used like an izakaya, so this time I aimed to enjoy Mr. Umeda's sushi, and I enjoyed the sushi with a modest amount of sake. Just by looking at it, you can feel that the sushi is made with a lot of effort. It takes an hour and a half to get here from where I live, and nearly two hours with my companion, but I'm glad I came to this sushi restaurant. This time I was careful and it was an inner parlor, but for the third time I would like to ask for a counter seat with a regular face. *****First visit***** I visited for the first time on the way back from a day trip hot spring near here. Looking at the images posted on the homepage and GoogleMap, it seems that you can enjoy delicious side dishes and sake, so I made a phone reservation from a day trip hot spring and came to the store. As was the case on the phone, the manager and staff when I entered the store were very pleasant. From the recommended fresh fish, choose alfonsino, yellowtail, mackerel and sea urchin and order sashimi. All of them were so fresh that I forgot that I was in Ogawamachi, and the condition of the mackerel was just right, and the mackerel-loving companion was also delighted. The sashimi comes with aonori in addition to soy sauce, and as I was told, ``Please use it as you like,'' I got it with aonori, but the flavor of the fish and the flavor of the seaweed were very good. Although it is a sushi restaurant, it has a good selection of izakaya-style items, and I enjoyed several other items such as grilled squid liver. There were sours, whiskey, wine, and Ichiro's malt. In particular, the sake brewery Matsuoka Jozo Co., Ltd. [Teimatsu] in Ogawamachi, which I received at the end, was the most delicious. The taste is great, but Teimatsu, which is served cold, further enhances the taste of sake. It's within walking distance from a nearby day-trip hot spring, so I definitely want to go next time.
Went for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. When I chose soba and sushi lunch, it was a volume of salad, soba, sobayu, nigiri, pudding, and coffee. Soba is 90% soba. I was impressed by the beautiful and delicious soba. I think I'll bring my husband who likes soba next time. Recently, I've become accustomed to conveyor belt sushi, and I've come to think that sushi made by people is really delicious. The size of the sushi rice was just right, and all the ingredients were delicious. (Did squid taste this good?) The dessert pudding was also scorched with caramel and had a nice aroma, and the crispy and moist pudding was delicious. I didn't expect the lunch coffee that comes out in such a place to taste so much, but it was a delicious coffee. Overall, it was a more satisfying lunch than the price, and I would recommend it to my friends. I want to go again.
