Visited a sushi restaurant in Kitanagoya City, Aichi Prefecture for lunch around 11 o'clock on a weekday. I sat at the counter and ordered this menu. ★ Top sushi 2400 yen ◎ Heartwarming combination of a general and a young general couple ◎ Good old-fashioned sushi that is different from today's trends The parking lot is on the east side of the store, and the interior of the store has counter seats, table seats, and a small raised area. I was the first one there just after it opened and there were no other customers, but it was my first visit in a while and I was able to relax and enjoy the conversation. This day is a bit special, so I decided to go to this place that I have fond memories of since I can remember. The general seems to be turning 80 years old soon, and this day is exactly half that age. When I go back home, my parents always get food delivered from here. I have visited many times in the evening as well as for delivery, but I think this was my first time visiting during the day. When I checked with my parents, they told me that they have been going there not since childhood, but since before they were born. It's the only store I've been to more than my actual age. After placing your order, you will be provided with dashimaki, edamame, mozuku vinegar, and red soup stock. Only sushi is available for delivery, but although it is not a lunch menu, it is a nice service that is different from delivery. The dashi rolls are freshly baked and piping hot, and when you put your chopsticks into them, the sweet dashi soup oozes out. I was given the choice of crab meat or conger eel, one of the top sushi ingredients, so I chose the latter without hesitation. I like the sweetness of large crab meat, but the conger eel here, cooked until fluffy and then thoroughly grilled, is exquisite. The characteristic conger eel with its smooth and sweet claws is my favorite of all the toppings I get here. Bright red tekka rolls, glistening salmon roe warships, and fatty tuna that instantly melts in your mouth. The presentation at the restaurant is always like this, but the hidden toppings are squid and sole. A traditional type of sushi with slightly vinegary sushi rice, large, thick toppings, and tightly held pieces. However, for me, who grew up eating this type of sushi, this is the standard and basic nigiri. The sushi made with red vinegar and the small size of sushi that melts easily are also good, but this is the best sushi from a traditional town sushi restaurant. Above all, I was happiest when I was told that the number of customers had increased after seeing my posts. I would like to continue to visit regularly and support them. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere of the shop is very nice and comfortable. It seems to be run by a family and everyone is warm-hearted. It's a shop that you can easily walk into by yourself. I went there twice. It's about 50 minutes from my house, so I only go there once in a while, but I think it's delicious. This time, the two of us went for lunch, and we had 4 draft beers, 1 piece of sushi, 2 servings of sashimi, sea urchin, tuna, white meat, egg, kappamaki, shrimp, and herring roe (I forgot later). My son doesn't usually eat tuna because he thinks it tastes like blood, but he said it was delicious and ate it. It was 12,700 yen. Last time, the two of us walked out in the rain to have dinner and drinks, and he dropped us off at our child's nearby home. I was grateful. Please give it a try.
