Chiba, Japan｜Choushimaru Miyagino

I’ve visited many Choushimaru locations as it is the best value for quality sushi. This location is my favorite. I usually spend about ¥2000 and always dine in for freshness. The taste is amazing and pieces are large. Even the pickled ginger is fantastic! I recommend the maguro and salmon saikyo aburi for sushi and arajiru (fish soup).

The store is relatively small, but I guess that's standard for Choshimaru. Compared to other cheap conveyor belt sushi restaurants, the ingredients are clearly different. Because the price is high, there are few families with children, so you can relax and enjoy sushi.

I went to eat with my family of 7 on 8/13 (Sunday). We waited about 40 minutes. Both the size and thickness of the ingredients are very different from conveyor belt sushi. The price is a little high, but in terms of cost performance, Choshimaru definitely wins.
