More Comments at Google MapThis is sushi that makes you feel happy when you eat it! The sushi rice melts in your mouth, and the toppings are perfectly balanced and delicious. Salmon roe and conger eel looked so beautiful that I wanted to look at them. The chawanmushi was also delicious♪ It was a satisfying time with delicious sushi and side dishes, as well as drinks!
I always want to go to this restaurant when entertaining guests in Kashiwa, and the other day my wish came true and I had some delicious sushi and snacks. I made a reservation and visited. The alcohol is recommended by Kokuryu, so we had delicious sushi at Kokuryu. I would also like to take the opportunity to visit you.
I wanted to visit Kiyota, the restaurant where the third generation General Kimura was born, so I went there for lunch. I visited before the coronavirus (ordered the special nigiri for 2,500 yen), and my impressions at that time were: Is it okay to have this at such a low price? That's what I think. Now that the coronavirus has subsided, I will visit again (this time I ordered the omakase 7,000 yen). Is it okay to sell this product at such a low price? ? ? That's what I think. <<Basic information>> ・"Kiyota" The birthplace of the third generation General Kimura ・The current general was trained under General Kimura. (He seems to be a well-trained craftsman in terms of his appearance and demeanor. He also spoke to me in a friendly manner and had a wide variety of topics to talk about. Especially the talk about fish was very educational.) ・Authentic Edomae sushi restaurant with close ties to the local community (a lot of locals came here) ・We have fixed days of the week when we will have a great lunch deal. ・Lunch includes rose chirashi (1,500 yen), nigiri (2,500 yen), and omakase (7,000 yen) *The difference between "Nigiri" and "Omakase" is the number of items and the type of toppings, but the quality seems to be the same. ・The ``Omakase'' lunch course can be provided if there is a reservation for 2 or more people. (Due to preparation) ・I feel like I'll find something better for dinner. ・The tuna is purchased from Ishiji, the same company as Kiyoda. (I think this is the only place in Kashiwa. Ishiji is not an intermediate wholesaler where anyone can easily purchase.) <<Contents of today's lunch omakase course (7,000 yen)>> <knobs> 1. Flounder, Engawa, 2. Squid geso (broiled squid) 3. Salmon roe rice * Salmon roe and sea urchin are expensive this year 4. Tuna *Sanmaya 190kg 5. Swordfish (broiled) 6. Wakame and cucumber with vinegar <Nigiri> 7. Tuna red meat 8. Kohada 9. squid 10. Hiragai 11. Flounder 12. Shimaji ※Fried 13. Tuna 14. Top with 2 pieces of mackerel 15. Favorite things 16. Kuruma shrimp 17. Boiled conger eel (the same grilled one as Kiyoda is served at dinner) 18. Tekka roll 19. egg << Impressions >> It feels like they carefully select the ingredients and make various efforts, such as slightly changing the parts of the good ingredients, to keep the price low and offer it to customers. (As expected, it is impossible to offer super high-class toppings at lunch prices, so I think it will be served at dinner.) I was very surprised that they were offering it at this price even though the ingredients were good and there was quite a lot of it. As an example of how I feel that the current owner serves sushi with the local customers in mind, he told me that he uses less salt, perhaps to suit the restaurant's local customer base. (There are many elderly customers, so I think they are concerned about their health.) It's also very fun to see the original retelling of General Kimura's direct story. (The general's hon-te-gaeshi here has a dynamic feel, and it's very interesting when compared to the elegant hon-te-gaeshi of the 4th generation of "Kiyoda") For first-timers, I think it would be a good idea to try the nigiri course (2,500 yen) for lunch. Even though the price was reasonable, it was very delicious and I was very satisfied. I have attached a photo of the "Omakase" course so that you can easily imagine it. (I forgot to take some pictures)
