Well, today's sushi restaurant is... About 5 minutes down the hill from Motochoshi Station. Turn right at the bottom and you will soon see a signboard. This is Tsunezushi. The shop name is said to be one letter of the master's name. When you enter, there are 8 counter seats, a small raised area, and 2nd floor seats. I sat down at the counter and had a beer. Unusually, it came in a large bottle. I'm happy to see something like this. The appetizer is boiled tuna. It has a good flavor and is perfect for beer. And sashimi mainly made from local ingredients. From the right: sea bream, yellowfin tuna, red clam, octopus, scallop, firefly squid, bluefin tuna, and flounder. The bluefin tuna was especially delicious. This is a masterpiece caught in Choshi. And I received Isogaki. Isogaki are rock oysters that can be found around here. When this happens, it's already Japanese sake. There are two types of cold sake: Hakkaisan and Kamitaka. For now, let's start with Mt. Hakkaisan. It is a one-go bottle similar to a soy sauce bottle. Isogaki and Hakkaisan are an exquisite collaboration. People say white wine is good for oysters, but I'm definitely a fan of dry sake. One bottle is an instant kill. Let's make it the next Reishinada Kamitaka. This is a 300ml bottle. The next snack is Sujiko. Sushi restaurants don't often carry it. It's difficult to adjust the amount of salt, but I think it's better than salmon roe as a snack for sake. Then there's sake-steamed clams and Saikyo-yaki Spanish mackerel. The clams were huge❗️ but they were delicious, not too strong. Kamitaka is already on his third one. It's refreshingly dry, similar to the Koten that I usually drink. It goes perfectly with appetizers. Here, the salt-grilled tiger prawns that I had ordered a while ago came out. 20cm is a big one. It was sprinkled with salt and perfectly grilled. I couldn't help but blurt out. I haven't been able to take a photo. If it had been taken, it would probably have been the most Instagrammable photo of the day. (lol) The final dish is bluefin tuna. Tekkamaki and medium fatty tuna. Mr. Tsunezushi was very satisfied. I will definitely come again.
All I can say is that the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The restaurant is run by a family, and everyone is very friendly and makes you feel at home at the sushi restaurant. There is also a parking lot.
