Sushi Yuki. Service lunch for 500 yen (very reasonable). Miso soup, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and mozuku (seaweed) are self-service. The steamed egg custard had delicious chestnuts inside. The mozuku, which I did not like so much before, was the best I tried. The sourness of the vinegar was excellent. For sushi, we ordered 10 pieces for 900 yen. Great price for the amount.

I would say that this is the best sushi & sashimi restaurant in Tsuchiura. The food is tasty and the prices are resonable. This place has only an uncle who serves your food, but you can have self-services for tea, steamed eggs, and miso soup. The customers at this place are all nice. Thank you an auntie who tried to talk with us (even we can't speak Japanese). And thank you to a goup of Japanese men who helped us translate and treated a bottle of beer and eel sushies. As the reviews said, the general's character was the best. The dinner set is 3,000 yen for draft beer, chawanmushi and macaroni salad, three types of sashimi and grilled dishes selected by the chef, and 10 pieces of sushi. It was fresh, cheap and delicious❗ The self-serve miso soup is made from various kinds of fish, and even though it's a service item, you can really feel the chef's hard work at preparing it.
