Located in front of Hotel Nakamuraya, 4 minutes walk from the east exit of JR Shiojiri Station. It is on the left side of ``Sanzoku'', which is said to be the birthplace of Sanzoku-yaki. This restaurant is a delight for tourists, with a wide selection of local foods such as horse sashimi, otaguri (stewed horse offal), carp, char, locusts, yams, and Shinshu salmon. It was a good izakaya with a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including local sake and local wine, and reasonably priced, so I would probably go there if it were nearby. Although it's not a Shinshu sake, I was happy to see Asamai Sake Brewery's ``Amanoto,'' which I often drank when I was working in Akita and had been communicating with the brewer Yasushi Moritani (deceased) on social media. .

This is an izakaya near Shiojiri station. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, and your order will come out rather quickly. It was delicious.

I spotted it on Google Maps and popped in on a business trip. We enjoyed delicious local food and drinks, and the employees were kind. From the day's recommended menu, fukimiso and wasabi flower ohitashi. From the standard menu, we chose yam tempura and horse meat steak. Not only was the food delicious, but they were very considerate towards solo customers, and I would like to stop by on my next business trip.
