More Comments at Google MapThis was the best night out I have had in quite some time. I was in town for one night while on a road trip and I had no idea what to eat. I strolled up the major street near the train station but nothing quite seemed right until I found this place. The restaurant has a comfy vibe with friendly people and delicious food. It was the best sirloin steak I have eaten in a long time. I was not drinking alcohol that night but the other guests seem to be enjoying a wide range of wine and craft beers as well as cocktails. It’s not an Izakaya but still has that vibe. The menu is very straightforward. All about meat. There is some chicken which looks tasty. In the end, I decided to go with the local beef because it is so famous. I was grateful for my choice. They make their own sauces which complement to meat and grilled vegetables perfectly. If this was closer to my house, I would go every week. That said, I know I’ll make a trip and come back someday soon because it was so delicious and fun to talk with everyone. On the way out, I picked up some oranges that are unlike any I’ve ever tasted. From Ehime. Bright and sweet and juicy. I knew that Ehime is famous for citrus but I didn’t realize that it’s actually quite different than anything else. I knew natto from this region is famous, but I didn’t know why. I sometimes struggle eating natto that is too “neba neba.” This nato is different. Of course there are some strings as you pull it apart but it is drier and you can taste the individual beans. I love it❣️ Thank you 🙏🎉😄 and see you soon!
The day before the last day of the site, I visited with the person in charge for the launch. If you want to eat the most delicious meat in Iwaki, this is the only place! It was a taste that made me say. I thoroughly enjoyed the best locally raised Fukushima beef. Potato salad with raclette on an empty stomach, 200 grams each of 4 parts of meat and 2 servings of grilled vegetables...a full stomach w I don't understand the taste of meat anymore w It was too good and only a disgusting smile was floating w I am forever grateful to the livestock farmers who have put so much effort into raising them. Oh, and the chef too. The restaurant seems to be frequented by locals, and the longer I stayed, the more seats filled up. At the end, I was curious about the deep-fried horse mackerel that the person next to me was eating, so I ordered half of it and shared it. The fresh horse mackerel that can be used as sashimi was excellent even if fried. Date's sauce is also excellent compatibility, and if there is a gap in my stomach, I was driven by the urge to fill it w Also, when I go on a business trip to Fukushima, there is no doubt that I will definitely repeat even if it is a little far away w
Today I saw it in Town Magazine Iwaki and came to the store for a takeout motsunabe. Waiting for me when I entered was a clerk and a master who were very friendly! I was surprised that the motsunabe set was more than I expected. I'm looking forward to tonight with a bag full of vegetables and frozen soup stock. It's a very pleasant shop! Also, the cashier will be pleased if you give out small change lol Next time I will come for lunch! ︎
