It was great restaurant with Bill Evans music and delicious Sukiyaki! The owner cooked by himself for the sukiyaki And for the dessert, the watermelon was soo good!

We had a wonderful evening!!! We were seated in a small private room in the 2nd floor in a very relaxing atmosphere. This is a sukiyaki restaurant, so it is assumed that you will have sukiyaki (I think that there are other options if you make a reservation and let them know ahead). Soon after we were seated, they started bringing food (without giving us a menu). Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was on top. Our dinner for 3 people (including drinks) was $40,000 yen, which is a very reasonable price for a dinner of this quality in this area.

This marvelous little sukiyaki restaurant is in an old family house on a small back alley in Roppongi. It feels like they cleared a spot in the living room to make room for a few tables, stacking knick knacks and curios to make room for their guests. I understand there are private dining rooms on the second floor. The wagyu beef sukiyaki is made at your table and accompanied by pickles, squid bits, fish cakes, steamed daikon, rice and other tiny plates. The beef is cooked with brown sugar and lard (who could ask for more?) and can be served, deliciously so, with raw egg. A little green tea and a small fruit plate finishes off the meal. This little place is a real gem. I highly recommend it. Dinner for two was around 16000yen including two mixed drinks from the full bar.
