Nowadays, the number of formal kaiseki restaurants has decreased dramatically, and even those who are nostalgic for the old days will be impressed by the good old-fashioned Japanese culture if they open the door of Shikitei. The atmosphere, the delicious, elegant and sincere dishes, the quality and care of all the staff, and the attentive proprietress who directed everything, and the high-quality "hospitality" for the first time in a long time, impressed me. Reservations are recommended for the kaiseki course. Since the restaurant is run by a couple, it is better to make a reservation in advance so that the food can be prepared smoothly. The time to come out is just right. I am very satisfied.

We had lunch, sukiyaki, and a 6500 yen course. In a calm Japanese-style room, small bowls of octopus, sashimi, sukiyaki with high-quality Joshu meat, and desserts were all very satisfying dishes where you can feel the attention to detail. The proprietress's gentle hospitality was also wonderful, and I was very satisfied with the course alone and was full, but I also wanted to try tempura and asked. Everything was very delicious with the platter. Especially the mackerel tempura was fluffy and crispy. In addition, we want to use by all means. It was a wonderful time.
