More Comments at Google MapAwesome delicious and value for money Omi beef. We had this on our way back to Osaka.
The food, service and atmosphere were all good. I used it for my wedding anniversary. I was taken to a private room. The timing of bringing the food was just right, and the explanation of the origin of the ingredients and how to eat was polite and not formal, and it was very comfortable for us. I was surprised that the course meal was served with chopsticks, and the main course was served with white rice, and even the garnishes for the rice came out. The red wine they recommended was also very good. I was very satisfied with not only the popular hamburg steak, but also the appetizer and dessert. I would like to use it every year.
First of all, a word of conclusion... “Seriously?!” A friend I'm meeting again for the first time in a while loves Japanese wagyu beef, so I wanted him to go home with good memories, so for the past month before he came, I was thinking about which restaurant would have the best beef in the Kansai area. I was researching whether it was. After doing some research, I found that I could list dozens of famous shops. As expected of Kobe beef! , Is Omi beef really that great? , Shall we go see Matsusaka beef? Little by little, I narrowed it down by researching the suppliers, chefs' backgrounds, and personalities, and in the last week I narrowed it down to three restaurants, thinking, "Okay! I'll narrow it down to my last choice!" Each store was very polite and I asked a few questions in a few words so as not to disturb my busy schedule. In the end, I decided on Fukunaga based on my feeling. Well, I'm not bragging, but I've never let go of how I feel when I say something like this, so to be honest, there were times when I felt a little uncomfortable while responding (that's a secret), but I'm a craftsman. I was able to understand that it's typical of when you're busy, so on the contrary, that temperament is a plus point for me! With that in mind, I made a reservation. Then, well... there are people who say that his craftsmanship is something he inherited from his father who is a chef. ♪ I wonder if he'll be able to hit the jackpot for the first time in a while at such a young age? I was anxiously waiting for the day of my reservation. When you enter the restaurant, even though it's a Wagyu beef restaurant, you can't smell the distinctive smell of beef fat coming from the kitchen! I don't usually eat Wagyu beef because I have a sensitive nose. When I was a child in Tokyo, the delicious Wagyu restaurant my father used to take me to was no longer there, so I no longer eat Wagyu at all. I hate that candle-like smell, and I don't want to go on such an adventure to eat it, and now I can eat high-quality US beef that is almost odorless, so I wish it hadn't been for the wishes of my Wagyu-loving friend. , I think I ended my life without ever meeting Mr. Fukunaga. Ever since I was a kid, I've felt that when I eat the best grilled wagyu beef, I feel exactly the same way as when I eat the ``best grilled tofu'' served at a delicatessen restaurant. You can finish eating with your mouth feeling refreshed from start to finish. Mr. Fukunaga...I think it would be better for you to go eat instead of talking about it. However, one of the drawbacks is that Shiga prefecture has a strong seasoning. Or is it because the food is prepared so that customers can eat it while drinking alcohol? I can't drink it, so I guess the salt concentration in the meat seasoning is about 1.6%. I felt it about 20% stronger. I think I'll ask for a little less seasoning next time. Then... it might turn out to be a big deal. It's so delicious I might die... In that sense, it's a 4 point. I always think it would be great if a high-end restaurant like this, where reservations are required, had someone who drinks alcohol before cooking and someone who doesn't make the final decision on seasoning. Also, due to my selfishness, I had the night reservation changed to a daytime reservation the day before. Although we apologized for the inconvenience, we were greeted pleasantly and without any unpleasant looks. Sorry for being noisy... I will definitely visit again, it was a great meal. By the way, my friend was worried that if he ate this wagyu beef, he wouldn't be able to eat it anywhere else again. On this night, I wanted to check my acceptance of Wagyu beef, since I wouldn't know until the same day, so I went to a yakiniku restaurant called Yugentei in Shijo Takakura in Kyoto City and tried a bunch of Wagyu beef. (lol) My friend and I were absolutely disgusted by the discoloration of Yugentei's flesh. Of course, Yugentei was also very delicious, although it was expensive. But Mr. Fukunaga...no, he won't say anything anymore.
