Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜和ノ食 奏

Mr. Kanade, it was my first time, but it was a wonderful dish. I knew it from Suzune's era, but it was all the best. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited Himeji in early April, I happened to pass by this shop while taking a walk. Seasonal cherry blossoms were arranged in front of the store and caught my eye. There were many congratulatory flowers lined up at the entrance as it had not been opened in this place. There were other customers in the store, but the private room seemed to be available at the right time, so I was guided. The inside of the store was very clean and comfortable, and I had the “steamed conger eel set” on the lunch menu. The plump conger eel melted in my mouth and was very delicious. The tempura, small bowls, chawanmushi, etc. that come with the meal are all perfect, and even the gari that accompanies the sushi is made with all your heart. The smile of the customer was also pleasant and calmed down. I think it's very reasonable to have delicious food in a private room at this price. I left the store very satisfied. When I left the store, there were 5-6 customers in line, and I was lucky that I got in at the right time. I would like to try different seasonal dishes. Also, when you visit Himeji, it is a shop that you definitely want to visit!

I wanted to treat my parents to lunch as a token of my gratitude, so I made a reservation for my parents, myself, and my son. From the time I made the reservation over the phone, they consulted me about various menu options, and even gladly accommodated my request to have some text written on the dessert plate. I was able to enjoy a really comfortable meal. The food was beautiful to look at, and we had a lot of different dishes, all of which were delicious, especially the conger eel. It was almost Halloween, and my niece received some sweets on the way home, which made her happy. I thought it was great that even though it was a high-class restaurant, it was also child-friendly. My husband and daughter weren't able to attend this time, so I thought it would be nice to go to celebrate some kind of anniversary. I'm really thankful to you.
