Kyoto, Japan｜Kyoto cuisine Hanasaki Nishikiten

It’s really nice to vegetarian. They have customized dishes for Tofu-gluten-cake set. The Nama-fu (gluten cake) is also amazing! I haven’t taste that before. Highly recommend to people who visit kyoto to taste the Kyoto-style dishes.

This felt like a real Kaiseki experience, with dishes specifically focused on Kyoto ingredients. Everything was fresh and unique, and all beautifully plated. Considering how expensive Kaiseki normally is, this felt like a great deal.

Strolled in late lunch time in early spring 2023 and was fortunate they had a slot. treated myself to a very satisfying 9 course meal and well served my Yuka-san. Will certainly come back if/when I visit Kyoto again.
