Takasaki, Gunma, Japan｜Gatten Sushi - Takasaki Kami-Ōrui

The sushi here is very good. It's a pricey sushi chain restaurant but it's worth it's price. Everything ordered was excellent. Also, there were woman sushi chefs here, which was awesome. It shows that equality is slowly progressing in Japan. Sushi chef is predominantly a male profession.

They do seasonal fish here and it's absolutely delicious. I am never disappointed in the quality of food here and the quick, responsive and clean service. Get the nama salmon! Cheers ✌️

Weekday lunch is free of charge. You can feel free to come in alone on weekday lunchtimes, but it can sometimes get crowded. There are box seats, so it's perfect for families. The taste is the best among conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Takasaki city. I think it's better than Sushi Zanmai in Tokyo. There is quite a lot of parking.
