Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan｜Takumi

The chef is so friendly. They are so happy when we told them we travel from Indonesia. It's worth a visit if you happen to be in Utsunomiya. Price also reasonably low and the sashimi is also slightly bigger than most restaurants in Tokyo.

Excellent sushi!

There used to be a stand-up restaurant on the West Exit Paseo, and I was disappointed that it had closed, but I heard that an affiliated restaurant was opening here on Utsunomiya Terrace, so I decided to visit. To be honest, I was disappointed with the quality of the ingredients when I visited another roadside store in this chain early in the New Year, so I was surprised when I heard that the store in West Exit Paseo was part of this chain. I didn't have high expectations considering it's a chain store in an inland area. I'm sure some people don't like it, but when I tried the sashimi and tuna nigiri, I was surprised by the thickness and quality of the ingredients. I wish the local sake and bottled beer were cheaper (I didn't order it because it's expensive, so I don't know the size, but I don't know if it's a large bottle, but it's not expensive), but that's about all I can complain about. It is very important that the material is not stingy. Of course, the taste is not far from Toyama's sushi balls and kitokito sushi, so if you can eat this at this price in Utsunomiya, this is the place.
