More Comments at Google MapIf I have ever given a 5* review for a sushi place, you got to bet its a way above class in terms of quality and price. Lucky for you, this is one of them. Oh my, the sushi here is amazing considering its a conveyor sushi belt style. I have not had one that I did not like and every single plate was good on its own. Queue was long when I got here. About 20 people ahead but got in within 20min because the place was huge and turn over was quick. If you are ever in Shibuya, this is the sushi place you wanna be!!!
Came a little bit early (10:50 am) to line up for their 11 am opening, and there was already a line! We were able to make it in, the sushi were fresh, lots of options. The staff were super welcoming as well, love the ambience and the price is unbeatable.
Katsumidori was my favourite restaurant the last time I visited Tokyo and it still is now. Of conveyer belt sushi restaurant, it is definitely the best I have tried. If going before the restaurant opens, the wait is usually not too long. However if you go once it has already opened, be prepared to wait a bit in line. The fish quality is good, and price is not too high. They also have a big variety of foods to choose from. Each seat has an iPad so you can order the specific pieces you want. You can also choose pieces that are on rotation. Their green tea is self serve so feel free to get as much as you want! Something nice about this place is that you can also choose a half rice portion so you can enjoy more fish without feeling super full. My favourite dish is their flounder niigiri. They also have foot long eel niigiri too, which is very impressive to see in person.
