Toshima City, Tokyo, Japan｜Quercus

Probably my favourite whisky bar (or bar of any description for that matter) in the world! Great selection of really unusual and interesting whiskies, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff (Watanabe-san, the owner, is a lovely chap) and a very nice atmosphere. I made a lot of friends here over the year-and-a-bit I was living in Japan, and it's now always number 1 on my list for places I want to go to whenever I'm back in Japan.

This is an amazing little find in ikebukuro. This is our second trip back to this bar. It's amazing and if you love whisky, you will not be disappointed!

small and not crowded, one of those places that makes you wonder how they can stay in business. a great place to sample japanese and foreign whiskeys.
