Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan｜Bar Plat

Visited after seeing the reviews. I don't go to bars that often, but everything was just right and the space was comfortable. The lighting is not too dark, and the bar has a calm atmosphere where you can casually drink. The staff were all polite and made me feel comfortable drinking. The cocktail they made for me was so delicious.

I visited this place after being recommended by a bartender friend of mine. While it has an authentic aspect, it has a soft atmosphere and is comfortable. The foot of the counter is raised, so you won't get tired easily. The bottle pictured is Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 7. There are many types of snacks, so even people who can't drink without eating will be fine. Since it's the weekend, there are three staff members, and there are plenty of people working around the store. This time we had whiskey from sherry casks and noble rot wine casks, and it was a bar I would like to visit again.

I found this while looking for a good bar in Kashiwa. This time, I had the Sakura Gin and Tonic, which is made by soaking cherry blossoms in Hiroshima's Sakurao Gin, and the Mishokan Bulldog. The lovely gin and tonic, which makes you feel like spring is approaching, and the Misokan Bulldog, which has a sweeter grapefruit flavor, were both delicious and very satisfying. The homemade water yokan that came out with Charm was scented with a certain whiskey, and I was happy with that little twist. Added on 2019-09-27: It was my first time back in half a year, but the pineapple Augusta Seven and white grape Sol Cubano were delicious, and the hospitality of the staff who came out to see me off at the bottom of the stairs when I entered the store was as wonderful as ever.
