Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Konohana Sakuya

In one word: amazing! I just strolled past this place initially, it’s pretty easy to miss as it’s in a side alley off one of the Osu shopping streets. I enjoyed trying local sakes and, despite the language barrier, had engaging conversations and a fun time with the locals and regulars who visited. I'll definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

This is a fairly small Japanese sake bar located in a back alley in Osu. It's reminiscent of Shinjuku's Golden Gai. They have a large selection of sake, and although they don't carry the standard ones, they do have a selection of rare items, regardless of their pedigree. This is a shop where you can mainly enjoy conversation, and everyone, including the general, had a lot of interesting things to say, so it was fun.
