I took the plunge and ordered the tomato-based vanilla-flavored umeboshi pasta. Apparently the umeboshi is pickled in honey, so it's not salty. The scent of vanilla and plum is mixed, and the scent is reminiscent of almond tofu. When you mumble it, the sweetness and sourness come alternately. The sauce is basil flavored with squid and scallops. The basil sauce made from 100% basil, rather than the Genovese with nuts, was a very gentle sauce. This pasta is a must-try for those who don't eat basil or don't like it.
