Maebashi, Gunma, Japan｜Nabe Udon-dokoro Satori

During my wandering days, Gunma Prefecture visited "Nabe Udon Restaurant Satori" in Maebashi City. Here, I ate the famous "beef short rib (spicy) stewed udon". This is a unique style of cooking by yourself, and I remember that the rice porridge after eating udon was also delicious.

There is a large parking lot next to the store. I got there early, so I was able to get a seat right away, but there's only room for 7 groups, so if it's full, you'll have to wait quite a while. Seating is tatami only. Since we use a stove, it can get quite hot in the summer. I ordered beef short rib spicy stewed udon for 1,400 yen, miso stewed udon for 1,300 yen, and Echigo stew udon for 1,250 yen. The spicy beef short ribs are quite spicy, but the soup allows you to feel the flavor of the meat and is extremely delicious. Miso stew and Echigo stew contain mochi and have a sweet flavor, making them both delicious. All noodles are thick and firm. Finally, add the rice and eggs that come with it and eat it quietly. This is also delicious. This is a highly recommended restaurant for udon.

A nabeyaki udon restaurant that I have been to many times. The food is served quickly, the atmosphere is very nice, and the food tastes great. You can enjoy the taste that you can't taste at home. Even the rice porridge at the end is very delicious, so this is a restaurant you should try at least once. It gets crowded after 6pm, so we recommend going early. (Especially in winter ☺)
