When I came to Ashikaga to see the autumn leaves, I also stopped by Hanamaru Udon and had lunch. I also ordered the medium grated mentaiko soy sauce udon (400 yen) and the vegetable kakiage and fried chicken, and at about 600 yen, it was a reasonable and filling meal. Hanamaru's udon noodles have a chewy texture. It's quite cheap and delicious.
