Each piece of tempura is 80 yen. There were kakiage, chikuwa, geso tempura, gobot tempura, and sweet potato tempura. Add a piece of tempura to your udon noodles and you'll be full. The udon noodles are thin and smooth, as the name suggests. I ordered hot kake, but the soup was black and had a strong flavor, so much so that it stained the handmade udon noodles brown. In this region where the wind blows and it gets very cold, the salty air will keep you warm. If you order udon, it will be served right away. Although the udon restaurants in Kiryu City are delicious, they take a long time and are sometimes difficult to get out immediately after eating, but here you can eat quickly and get out right away. The tempura is deep-fried, but it's delicious even when it's cold, so I took it home and had it as a side dish for dinner. It has a homemade taste that cannot be compared to the tempura you buy at the supermarket. There aren't many restaurants that don't have idle time, so it's super convenient if you want to grab a quick bowl of udon at an odd time. However, if the noodles are sold out, they may close early. I was fooled by Google Maps and ended up driving down a narrow dead-end road along the Watarase River, so I drove back in tears, only to find that it was on the north side of a large apartment building on the first floor! It can be confusing if you don't know how to order, but you can order hot or cold first, take as much tempura as you like, and pay later. Parking is available in front of the store.

I was shocked at this difference, but I was able to eat it easily💦 Fried udon 570 yen, take-out udon 340 yen (with soup) Please ask the staff about the difference between a large serving + 150 yen and a double serving + 300 yen. It was helpful because it was open until the last minute at 15:00. It has a warm, homey taste and is highly recommended. There was a parking lot for 5-6 cars in front of the store, which was helpful. The staff and manager were also very alert and came even before I asked for a refill of tea 😇

It's a place I have fond memories of eating at since I was little. The udon here is the most delicious and cost-effective of all the udon I've ever eaten. Tempura is also very delicious. I recommend the kakiage.
