This soba restaurant used to be an inn. This is a shop that Mitsuo Aida was fond of. It is said that the proprietress of the inn bought books from Mitsuo when he was young, who came to sell books on his bicycle, and supported him during his difficult and unknown time. Mr. Mitsuo is a man of good faith, and even after he became a big hit, he never forgot the favor and continued to use this shop for whatever reason. There are many items related to Mitsuo Aida that Mitsuo fans will love, such as books written by Mitsuo, as well as signboards and room name tags. Ashikaga is a place where soba is delicious, and this restaurant is also delicious. The photo shows the herring soba that my friend ordered. It seems that Mitsuo-san liked this herring soba. There are herring under the tempura (sweat). Tempura is not included. The reason why there is tempura on the herring soba is because I forcefully gave the tempura from my tempura soba to a friend.

The buckwheat crepes are exquisite. It was the most delicious crepe I have ever eaten. I was healed by the polite customer service of the staff, and the owner told me an episode about Mitsuo Aida, and it was a wonderful lunch time.
