Stumbled on this place whilst in the area for work. Great udon, I never drink the soup but here was really good. Service is fantastic with I think husband/ wife combo working effortlessly to provide the best. Really impressed

It's always busy. The owner of the shop is a humble person, and I'm always impressed by him. The wife also greets customers from the kitchen when they leave the restaurant. Seasonal desserts are also a delight, and the one pictured here is a bite-sized pear. It was a hot day, so I had an assortment of cold udon and tempura. There are a variety of combinations, including hot or cold udon, your favorite tempura, and seasonal soups. Some people ask questions of their masters. I also like the fact that even though he is busy, he responds politely.

Speaking of udon in Tochigi, this is the place! It was so delicious that I couldn't help but think It was my first time to eat chilled udon noodles, and the combination of the chewy udon noodles and the fragrant non-chemical flavored soup stock was absolutely delicious. The tempura platter looks just like a specialty restaurant, and it's topped with a variety of vegetables, and the taste and volume are very satisfying. It looks like the price will go up a little from October 1st, but I'm definitely going!
