I ordered Hokkasu Udon (660 yen) and Inari Sushi (120 yen). Kasu udon is udon that contains hormones. I had doubts about the compatibility between horumon and udon, but the flavor of horumon permeates into the soup, making it a very flavorful soup. The soup goes well with Kure's famous thin udon noodles and is delicious. The store was so crowded that customers kept coming in, but it was no wonder it was so popular. I think it's worth trying if you come to Kure for sightseeing. However, the price of kasu udon increases because it contains hormones, so it is more expensive than other udon menus.

I had a large serving of kasu udon and kasu udon noodles. I entered the store at the last minute as the store was open until 2:30 p.m., but there were many other people who were able to come in at the last minute, so I wasn't rushed. Ordering is done using a ticket vending machine. You can choose thin udon or thick udon, and choose thin udon. The soup is well coated, smooth and delicious. Kasu udon contains oil lees, grated konbu konbu, seaweed, and green onions. The fat that oozed out from the oil cake went so well with the soup stock that I almost drank it all. There was so much udon in the large serving that it almost doubled the amount of udon. Inside the store, there are mostly counter seats and some tables. It feels clean, but there is no place to put your bags, so be careful. Water is self-serve. It seems to be crowded at lunchtime, so it might be a good idea to time your visit accordingly.

This shop is run by Dashi Doraku, a company that has a wide range of vending machines with chins exposed. Kasu (deep-fried beef offal) udon is certainly delicious and famous, but my favorite is meat tempura. You can choose between thick udon noodles or Kure's famous thin noodles. Of course, I like Kure's thin noodles. Dashi Doraku only has two stores, Kegoya and Yoshiura, and their business hours are short, so we recommend arriving early.
