Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Teppan-Yaki YAMANAMI

Ordered the lunch set (14,000 yen) which came with the Lobster, Japanese Beef Sirloin, Grilled Vegetables, Desert, Tea, Garlic Fried Rice (1,200 yen top up). Food was great and the lobster was done well. Garlic fried rice top up was definitely worth it and you should do it. Service was excellent. Very classy and polite. Has Wifi too if you ask :) Would come back for lunch again for sure.

Chef M Fujita is truly talented and professional. He recooks the half eaten vegetable just to make sure it's hot enough for a second bite. The garlic is cooked to perfection with intentional slight burn for some crispiness. He definitely demonstrates the hospitality of Japan.

Service is excellent! I rated them 5 stars for service, food quality, presentation and taste. Taste is on the lighter side so that may suit more health conscious people. Or u may ask them to season more fer you. Beef and lobster were done perfectly! The only thing I need to highlight is the price: I came fer dinner with no idea that lunch was cheaper. I opted fer the cheapest set which was a cool SGD 350 per pax. So that came up to be SGD 700 fer The Lover and I. That’s JPY 70,000 😅 no alcohol!
