Koto City, Tokyo, Japan｜Kakukaku Shikajika

An absolutely wonderful restaurant. We came on a Thursday night to have a few beers and have some local food. The shop chef came to our table to cook the Okonomiyaki (savoury Japanese pancake) for us, and it was incredibly delicious. We also had beers, good red wine and an excellent selection of sake, and ended up paying only about 12000 yen for four people, making this easily the best value for money for our whole trip to Japan. The whole restaurant was incredibly friendly and accommodating, despite the language barrier. I could not give a higher recommendation!

It was amazing! If you want to have one TRUE japanese night, this is the plase! The food is like you never have before (seriously, try the savourly pancake), the service is AMAZING, and the sake is suberbe! The comunicationg is in bronkeng english, but this is the best night you spend in Japan!
