A homely experience. The chef and his wife are friendly and accommodating. We didn't speak japanese but they had fun using the translation app with us. We came in on a quiet night so it was just us. The chef has a great sense of humor and enjoys entertaining his guests. The food was delicious! We had tenderloin and sirloin set meals. Get the garlic rice upgrade. It's like going to Grandma's and Grandpa's. They ask about you and tell you stories.

I passed by the store several times and was curious about it, so I went in on Saturday. Even though it's lunch, it's a teppanyaki steak that's grilled right in front of you. We had salad, miso soup, rice, pickles, steak, and grilled vegetable bean sprouts. The restaurant is run by the owner and his wife, who are both from Niigata, so the rice is delicious and made from Niigata. The evening pottery menu is also made with a focus on domestic produce. Pickles are homemade rice bran pickles. 15 years old! Nowadays, many shops purchase pickles from vendors that contain various additives, but homemade pickles are precious. Even on his days off, the master comes to clean the shop so it doesn't get greasy. It's amazing to be able to eat teppanyaki like this with the meat at this price (1760 yen)! ! The entrance was hidden and I couldn't find it. I tried to give up and go home, but after wandering around a few times, I finally got it all the way in! It's hard to understand, but please take a look inside. Teppanyaki steak served by a kind-hearted couple. I was impressed! Next time I want to go at night. As of May 2023, holidays are every Monday. I visited on a weekday afternoon. In the calm atmosphere of the Showa era, we had Wagyu beef grilled on the iron plate in front of us. The meat was tender red and delicious. Lunch was great value for money.
