If your looking for a quiet bar away from all the bustle of the sailors in the honchos, it's a great place fo grab a few beers. Frankly, if you're going to an izakaya to look for an American burger, just skip it and go to Burger King up the road. The japaneese food is comforting and carefully made, the staff is welcoming to foreigners, and there is often a vet or two that will help you out if you dont speak japaneese. I go for the comfort and warm atmosphere.
