Hands down, the best experience I have had in Hikone! The food was delicious, and the presentation was amazing. Best steak I had while I was here for business. I will come again!!

Went with my boss and coworker for lunch. The two of them went there before I did so I asked my coworker to order a bento for me. Knowing that Japanese people tend to eat their wagyu beef red, I asked her to ask them to make it well done (I don't care if you think I ruined the dish! I am not having that meat bleed all over the rice!) And they delivered! The meat was so well done and so tender. The rice was fluffy and tasty. The veggies complemented the meat quite well. I also loved how the cook would grill in front of you, so you can enjoy the show while waiting for your meal. Overall, a good experience in my books :)

The Omi beef steak, vegetables, ochazuke, and dessert were all delicious and I ate them all. It was my first time eating Shikakumame, but it was crunchy and I liked it. It was a wonderful space, not only for the meal, but also for the spacious interior, lighting, etc. that made you feel luxurious. I don't usually go to nice shops like this, so it was a great memory of my trip. thank you
