I ate lunch here nearly once a week during the 8 years I worked in the Akasaka-mitsuke area. Without a doubt, the meal to get during lunch is the sulatanmen. Golden noodles lovingly awash in a broth made sour from the vinegar (o-su) and spicy from chile oil (la-yu). The flavours are intense but not so much that it overwhelms. Small flasks of vinegar, chile oil and other condiments are included at each table should you want to amp up or adjust to personal taste.
