I often use it for lunch. If you want to eat local food in Hiroshima, Benbei is the place to go. Today's meatball soba with squid tempura topping. It is said to be the standard Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. You can choose between soba and udon noodles. During the day, you can enjoy okonomiyaki and yakisoba, and at night you can enjoy a wide variety of Hiroshima cuisine. I usually take a leisurely lunch, but due to the end of the holiday season, the place was packed at lunchtime. There are counter seats, tables, and tatami mats with sunken kotatsu seats. Alcohol spray is installed on each table as a preventive measure against infectious diseases. Mask dinner is recommended.

The restaurant was well maintained and the food was delicious. I had too much time left to ride the Shinkansen, so I popped in. This time I wanted to relax and it was a restaurant I'd like to come back to.
