Nagano, Japan｜Tempura and Soba - Sawano An

Outstanding freshly made soba with a chewy texture. Located about a block or two away from the Main Street. Grilled squid was exceptional too!

A wonderful soba place that makes their noodles fresh. If you are a visitor in Nagano, do try some soba as the altitude and soil suits soba cultivation well.

Came here to try the trinity of Nagano specialty: soba, horse sashimi & sake. Food was great. The staff were attentive and helpful although they were not fluent in English
