Tasty tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) place on a cliff overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance. Huge servings, good food, comfy seating/atmosphere, ample parking and scenic views. There's a lot of good food in the area which makes it tough to choose but if you're feeling like rice/meat this is a good option.

Since it was off the peak lunch hour, I was able to get in easily and was able to get a seat with a nice view. The fries were crispy with fine bread crumbs, and in addition to the cabbage garnish, it also came with a salad, making it a nice set meal. I was interested in the edamame minced meat cutlet, but the edamame in the meat had a fairly strong presence and was lumpy.

There is a large window with a nice view. So, there are special seats along the window, but whether you will be taken there or not depends on your luck. I had the loin cutlet set meal (1,500 yen), and the meat was very tender and not greasy, and it was packed with flavor. While I wanted to come back, I was also curious about other tonkatsu restaurants on Tonkatsu Kaido, including Tomita. If you look closely, it seems that Akagi pork is famous for its deliciousness. Also, I think I entered the store around 2pm, but the top loin set meal was sold out.
