Tsuyama, Okayama, Japan｜Hayase Tōfu

I’ve eaten lunch at Hayase Tofu five times and have already planned the sixth! The staff is friendly, professional, and very accommodating:) As to why I’ve been so many times… Hayase Tofu is the only local restaurant I’ve visited that happily changes their lunch set to a vegan version! It’s extremely difficult to find vegan options in Tsuyama so I’m glad to have found a place I can go to eat a healthy, yummy, and vegan lunch! They also have a little market area at the entrance where you can buy their tofu, fried tofu (age), and tofu-based desserts and snacks! Don’t forget to check out the store with lots of adorable handmade products as well as the garden both located at the back of the building:) Thank you Hayase Tofu! ☺️
